“I became a nurse practitioner because I wanted to be someone that women would feel comfortable talking with and learning about their bodies and their health without any judgment.
Something I have learned from my patients is everyone has a unique story and their lives and their health matter to me.
One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is needing to keep on schedule but still feel like each patient has the time they deserve and not feel rushed.
The best part of my work is getting to know my patients and their families to become a support during both joyous and difficult times. It is a privilege.
I spend my free time with my husband and 2 daughters, walking our dog, being outside in all of the seasons, and traveling.”
